Phone service temporarily knocked out in Kenly
Phone service was out in Kenly for about nine hours Wednesday night, Century Link officials said.

Residents were unable to make calls to numbers outside of the town between 5 p.m. and about 1 a.m. Thursday.
Full service was restored by 2 a.m., officials said.
