This is a sad, sad thing. I have traveled that road many times as I have family that lives close to there. What bothers me is Hwy 301 runs North to South and Hwy 581 runs East to West. If the traffic was runing the way the article says, I don't doubt there was an accient!! I don't mean to be petty, but; I do wish the media would get the story straight before printing it.

A wreck occurs at this intersection on a regular basis. There are signs and caution lights. I have been through this area many times, so therefore I know there is a stop sign there. Somehow people not familiar with the area always have problems at this intersection. The DOT probably does not know exactly what to do at this particular area to help avoid accidents other than what has already been done.
