    Hopefully she's not still stuck.

I witnessed this horrible accident, literally 4-5ft from my car! I pray this woman recovers! So sad!

because of residential areas mixed with high traffic areas. This intersection should consider installing a pedestrian overpass. This is NOT the first, nor last, pedestrian accident in the area.

I hope she is ok .. the exact location can be important if you want to avoid traveling in that area...

Glo, can we just hope that the lady is ok instead of worrying about the exact location? Really?

glo, that is NEAR Tryon. The story says NEAR Tryon. If they had said Chapanoke Rd, a lot of people wouldn't have know where that was.

  • glo Aug 28, 2013

The accident is at the corner of 401/S. Saunders/70 and Chapanoke, not Tryon.
