Pedestrian struck in Raleigh

A woman was hit by a car in front of a Raleigh bar on Thursday, authorities said.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A woman hit by a vehicle in front of a Raleigh bar on Thursday was wearing dark clothing and not in a crosswalk, according to police.

The report on the incident said the woman was Norma Collins McCaulley, 64, of 801 McCulloch St. in Raleigh.

She was conscious and alert when she was taken to a hospital, authorities said.

The crash happened in front of Boylan Street Brew Pub around 8:40 p.m.
