Pedestrian killed on I-40 in Winston-Salem
A pedestrian died after walking onto Interstate 40, near mile marker 195 at Old Lexington Road in Winston-Salem, early Saturday, state troopers said.

Two vehicles struck the pedestrian, troopers said. No other injuries were reported.
The incident shut down both lanes of I-40 West until about 4:15 a.m.
