lovinOBX: I agree. I've always been taught that if a pedestrian was not in a cross walk the they were "jay walking".

So can someone tell me where I can find the law that states pedestrians always have the right of way? I know if they are in a cross walk, but always? Recently more and more people just walk right out into traffic. 4 lane roads, whereever. Not that I want to kill anyone, but are they really within their rights? Just asking..

How do you know the man didn't walk into the street without looking. The POINT is we don't because they are still investigating.

The POINT here, you young folks: WATCH OUT for pedestrians!
