Raeford man charged in fatal pedestrian hit-and-run

— Police charged a Hoke County man Wednesday with a hit-and-run that killed a pedestrian on Raeford Road in Fayetteville.

Timothy Patrick Duclos, 27, of the 400 block of Royal Berkdale Drive in Raeford, was charged with felony hit-and-run, driving while impaired and having no operator's license. He was being held in the Cumberland County jail under a $15,000 bond.

Stephen Michael Floyd, 43, of Kingstree, S.C., was in the road when he was hit by a Ford Ranger pickup in the 6800 block of Raeford Road at about 2 a.m., police said.

The pickup was abandoned a short distance from the scene of the hit-and-run, police said.

    if i had no driver's license, I would be extra careful in driving and would avoid driving at that time of the early morning. This man might have been looking for drugs to buy.

    Should be charged with 2nd degree murder. Guess the price of life is getting cheaper
