RALEIGH, N.C. — All eastbound lanes of Interstate 440 were closed Sunday morning between Glenwood Avenue and Six Forks Road while authorities investigated a fatal crash involving a pedestrian.

Depredion Desean Turner, 24, was walking north across the eastbound lanes of I-440 at about 6:45 a.m. when he entered into the path of a 2016 Dodge Charger driven by Jamesha Michelle Johnson, 20, police said.
