A pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle on the 6600 block of Glenwood Avenue Monday night, Raleigh police said.

<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — A pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries Monday night after being hit by a vehicle on the 6600 block of Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh police said.

The driver of the car involved will not be charged, police said.

Westbound lanes of Glenwood Avenue were temporarily closed near Pleasant Valley Drive as Raleigh police investigated the crash.
