Pedestrian hit by car in Fayetteville

A pedestrian was hit by a car Thursday night on Raeford Road in Fayetteville, police said.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A pedestrian was hit by a car Thursday night on Raeford Road in Fayetteville, police said.

The man was taken to Cape Fear Valley Hospital with serious injuries. His name and condition were not released.

He was struck by a compact car around 8:20 in front of the Harris Teeter grocery store at 2800 Raeford Road.

No other information was released.
