Pedestrian dies after being hit in north Raleigh

Raleigh, N.C. — A Raleigh man died after being hit by a car Thursday while crossing Falls of Neuse Road, police said Friday.
Bhim Bahadur Limbu, 53, of Suburban Drive, ignored the traffic signals and stepped out in front of a vehicle driven by Arthur Shandale Best, 35, of Tyler Bluff Lane in Raleigh, at the Spring Forest Road intersection, police said.
Limbu was taken to WakeMed, where he died of his injuries.
The case remains under investigation, and no charges have been filed.
