<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — A portion of Ft. Bragg Road in Fayetteville was closed Wednesday after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.

Fayetteville police said a person was struck by a vehicle near Glenville Avenue and was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

The name of the pedestrian was not released. teh incident was being investigated by the Fayetteville Police Department's Traffic Unit.

Ft. Bragg Road was closed for about an hour between Glenville Avenue and N. Churchill Drive.
