RALEIGH, N.C.Peace China, an Asian restaurant in Raleigh's Seaboard Station it suing its landlords, which include William Peace University, the property owner.
The restaurant claims that terms of a lease agreed to in 2007, before Peace bought the property, have been violated, and it is seeking a lease extension until 2022.

According to the court filing, Peace China opened in Seaboard Station in 2007 with a 10-year lease and two options to extend for five years apiece. The original deal would have lasted until 2027.

The restaurant claims that the university agreed to abide by the original lease when it bought Seaboard Station in 2013, but has since charged the restaurant unexpected and unnegotiated fees for maintenance and has balked at renewing the lease.
