Pawn shop thieves sought in Spring Lake

Investigators said the men entered Parker Pawn on Highway 210 North shortly after 9 a.m. Wednesday.

SPRING LAKE, N.C. — Two masked men robbed a Spring Lake pawn shop Wednesday, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Department.

Investigators said the men entered Parker Pawn on N.C. Highway 210 North shortly after 9 a.m.

One held a shotgun on employees while the other smashed a glass display case and took an undetermined amount of jewelry.

The men were last seen fleeing on foot into the Eva Circle area of Spring Lake.

Detectives have offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrests of the suspects.
