Part of Wake Forest Road closed in Raleigh

The 2200 block of Wake Forest Road is closed in Raleigh after a water main break. It could be Friday morning before traffic is moving smoothly.

RALEIGH, N.C. — The 2200 block of Wake Forest Road is closed in Raleigh after a water main break. It could be Friday morning before traffic is moving smoothly.

Those traveling Wake Forest Road on Thursday night should expect delays, and should pay attention to posted traffic signs, closures, traffic cones, and work crews.

Traffic traveling north on Wake Forest Road will take a right on McNeil Street, left on Brewer Street, left on Mills Street, and back on to Wake Forest Road.

Traffic traveling south on Wake Forest Road will take a left on Mills Street, a right on Brewer Street, a right on McNeil Street and back on to Wake Forest Road.

Raleigh Water did not anticipate any interruption of water service in the area.
