— A dispute over a parking space led to a man being stabbed Saturday evening in a parking garage in Raleigh's Glenwood South district.

Police said one man stabbed the other in the stomach around 7 p.m. on the third floor of the parking garage at 510 Glenwood Ave.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with injuries that did not appear life-threatening, police said.

Authorities have not released the names of those involved and haven't yet determined whether charges will be filed.

Stop the kneee jurk reaction from a tiny article. You have no clue why the person was stabbed. Maybe he was threatened or approached in a violent manner. The parking space may just be the sensationalism to get you all worked up like you are. LOL WRAL is the master of that!

Strawman much? This would never have happened if Obama did not create so much "uncertainty" in the parking place market....oops, did I steal your next line ;)

Over a parking space? What is wrong with people. Hope they charge whoever is responsible to the fullest extent of the law.

The stupidity involved here boogles the imagination. Think we had a little machoism?

Really? A parking space is not work stabbing someone or going to jail for! Park a little further away and burn a few more calories. Makes me crazy-people burn so much gas looking for that 'perfect space' when they could have parked and been to where they are going in less time than it takes to endlessly circle around.

Have you ever had someone swoop in and steal the last parking spot you were waiting for?

I'm not surprised there was a stabbing.

charge him with attempted murder and prevent him from ever parking in Raleigh again by locking him away in a distant place.

What if he wasa defending himself? It is possible that he was attacked and assaulted and was defending himself. Lets wqait until facts are released to pass judgement. The fact that charges were not immediately filed means that self defense could be a possibility

  • ezLikeSundayMorning Mar 18, 11:24 a.m.

It is possible (maybe unlikely) that the one with the knife was defending himself against a physical assault.
