A dispute over a parking space led to a man being stabbed Saturday evening in a parking garage in Raleigh's Glenwood South district.

Police said one man stabbed the other in the stomach around 7 p.m. on the third floor of the parking garage at 510 Glenwood Ave.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with injuries that did not appear life-threatening, police said.

Authorities have not released the names of those involved and haven't yet determined whether charges will be filed.

Parking is a hassle in this town to begin with

"Anyone that would stab another person over a parking space needs some serious help and has no place in society, period."

Stop the kneee jurk reaction from a tiny article. You have no clue why the person was stabbed. Maybe he was threatened or approached in a violent manner. The parking space may just be the sensationalism to get you all worked up like you are. LOL WRAL is the master of that!

HMMM so does this mean we ban knives, or parking garages?- whatelseisnew

Strawman much? This would never have happened if Obama did not create so much "uncertainty" in the parking place market....oops, did I steal your next line ;)

Over a parking space? What is wrong with people. Hope they charge whoever is responsible to the fullest extent of the law.
