Parenting Tip: Making time for play

We've all heard about how important it is for kids to play. But it's also important for parents to play with them.

Gabriella Johr, a licensed clinical psychologist with Orenstein Solutions and mom of two, tells me that parents should set aside about 20 minutes a day to play with their child. That's 20 minutes of uninterrupted time, putting your phone and other gadgets down and just having fun. And if you have more than one child, playing all together for 20 minutes counts too.
