Whether they are working or staying at home with their kids, most parents need to fall back on some help every now and then. That might be the day care center where their child attends full time or their mother-in-law who stays with the kids so mom and dad can go out to dinner.

To make those relationships go smoothly between parents and caregivers, Gabriella Johr, a mom of two and licensed clinical psychologist with Orenstein Solutions, says parents need to make some clear decisions on big topics such as discipline or house rules. Johr offers some tips for parents and caregivers in this tip today. Watch my video interview with her for more.

Johr has been offering parenting tips during the last few weeks on Go Ask Mom. Check the box above for more. And come back next Wednesday for another tip.
