Nancy Spencer, a mom and founder of Confident Parenting, returns for a final parenting tip this week. This time, we're talking about figuring out what might trigger bad behavior.
Spencer says it's easy to get into a negative cycle when you find your child not sharing, talking back or otherwise misbehaving.
But the best way to handle bad behavior, she says, is to figure out what causes it before it happens. And that means being good observers of our kids, she says.
"It's so easy to get wrapped up in the day," Spencer tells me. "Kids need our eyes. They need to know that we are listening to them without distraction."
For more, watch my video interview with Spencer. And check the box above for more tips from her.

Thank you, Nancy, for all of the great information!
