Nancy Spencer, a long-time parent educator and founder of Confident Parenting, returns with a great reminder about easing the transition from work and school to home in the evenings for families.

"I would venture to say it is the hardest time in the day," she says.

And I would agree with her. To make a happier evening for all, families need to figure out the best way to reconnect. Spencer says it doesn't need to take a long time - just 15 minutes or so.

Watch my video interview to hear more about it. Check out Spencer's website for more about the services she offers families in the Triangle. And see the box above for links to other posts from Spencer.

Spencer will return next Wednesday for another parenting tip.
