Fayetteville, N.C. — Police said they arrested two men late Thursday in connection with a shooting at a Fayetteville party last month that killed one person and injured another.
Darrick Lynn Grissom, 24, and Antonio Terrell Johnson, 24, both of 523 Edwards St., were found hiding in a closet in a home on South Plymouth Street, police said.
Both men have been charged with first-degree murder in the April 22 death of Danny Ray McFadden, and they are being held in the Cumberland County jail.
McFadden, 29, was at a party in a home at 1937 Westhill Drive when some men pulled out guns, began robbing other party-goers and fired several shots, police said.
Anthony Dwayne Hair, 25, was arrested three days later and charged with first-degree murder in the case. Thomas Wayne McCarley, 24, of Autryville, surrendered to police on April 26 and also was charged with first-degree murder. Both remain in the Cumberland County jail.
