Posted July 1, 2013

— Police said Monday that they have charged two Rocky Mount men in the shooting deaths of two other men last year.

Randy Levon Elliott, 22, and Gregory Demon Freeman, 22, were found wounded in a car outside Elliott's house on Pender Street in Rocky Mount on April 8, 2012. Both men later died at area hospitals.

On Friday, police charged Sylvester Andrews, 22, and Trayvon Moody, 19, with two counts each of first-degree murder. They were being held Monday in the Edgecombe County jail without bond.

No other details were released.

One of this crew might look 22; but the others look like they have been through the mill and got backed up over.

Whoa! You know Trayvon & Sylvester thought they had "gotten over" on that one. The "long arm of the law" is, well... LONG.

I am glad they found them but why does it always take a year or more for RMPD to solve these crimes? I can't wait to move. There is a shooting every day in this city.
