Pair charged in 2007 Fayetteville slaying
Police said Friday that they have arrested two people in connection with the shooting death of a retired Fayetteville man outside his home more than four years ago.

Clifford Tatum, 50, was found shot in the front yard of his Abrams Street home on June 4, 2007, and he died at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Joshua Mercedes Henry, 27, and Ebonye Ashaan Gary, 27, have been charged with murder in his death, police said.
Henry was convicted in January on various charges, including breaking and entering, and is serving at least 58 months in Piedmont Correctional Institution, according to state Department of Correction records. Gary was arrested Friday, police said.
Investigators released no details of how they linked the pair to the crime or a possible motive for the shooting.
Tatum worked for 30 years at the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. plant in Fayetteville and had retired shortly before he was killed.
