"A warrant states that he tried to leave the area during the investigation." Really um and unless he was under arrest he had every right to leave. Poor kid didn't know his rights.

I know three or four young black males that are going to court now for this same charge...if you live in a black neighborhood you can't stand around and talk and you can't walk away from the police at all...if they call your name and you keep walking you're under arrest for resisting.

"pellet gun = airsoft pellet gun. Not hardly a weapon, and it was in their car. Much less dangerous that a pencil..."
I don't know where whatdidyouexpect got his information but I used to have a .177 cal. pellet pistol that I used to use on varmints. The idea that a pellet pistol is the same as an airsoft gun shows great ignorance. We're not talking about a nerf gun here...

Zero tolerance = zero intelligence (no thinking needed) -what

I agree. These kids were not very intelligent to bring a gun onto school property when there is a zero tolerance policy.

SR is a magnet school I believe. That's why they'd be bussed.

  • readyforchngin2012 Jan 28, 2011

looks like only one of this pair was bussed in - Wendell to SE Raleigh - 20 miles - yet Wendell to East Wake High - 5 miles. Anyone else see a problem here?
