<b>APEX, N.C.</b> — An overturned tractor-trailer caused traffic problems on U.S. Highway 1 near Interstate 540 in Apex on Tuesday afternoon.

Sky 5 flew over the scene as the driver of the tractor-trailer was pulled out of the vehicle at about 1 p.m.

There was no word on his injuries, but he was flown to a nearby hospital, authorities said.

No other vehicles were involved, and traffic was flowing by the evening rush hour.
