Posted March 31

— An overturned FedEx truck blocked eastbound traffic Friday morning on Interstate 40 in Raleigh.

The truck overturned around 10 a.m. It is unclear what caused the crash.

Traffic came to a complete stop while crews worked to move the downed truck. Some traffic began to trickle by in the left around 12:45 p.m.

The North Carolina Department of Transportation said the interstate reopened shortly before 1:30 p.m.
