Raleigh, N.C. — We are kind of obsessed with sweet tea, so when we heard about Front Porch ice cream's Sweetie Tea flavor, we had to try it.
Made with sweet tea vanilla ice cream and chunks of tea cake, it is like sipping a glass of tea - only frozen!
We were even more thrilled to learn that it is manufactured in downtown Mooresville.
Front Porch is made by the Mooresville Ice Cream Company, which has been in operation since 1924 as a family-owned business. If you are in Mooresville, be sure to swing by their ice cream parlour, located next to their original creamery.
If Sweetie Tea isn't your thing, there are also other Southern-inspired flavors like Nana's Banana Pudding, Scarlett Red Velvet and Praline Coastal Crunch.
You can buy Front Porch ice cream at most Lowes Foods, Food Lion and Harris Teeter stores.
