I've gotten several emails today and updated today's post about Julie Stoner, our featured mom and Boston Marathon runner.

I just wanted to do a separate post to let everybody know that she is safe. She finished the race in 3 hours, 40 minutes, 33 seconds at about 2:20 p.m. She was on her way back to her hotel as of about 5 p.m. I don't have any more information, but I'm just so happy to report that she's OK.

I know her friends, fellow runners and local moms Tiffany Bjornstad and Allison Roach, mentioned in the post, also finished the race with great times between 2:04 p.m. and 2:10 p.m., according to the marathon's website.

And, of course, WRAL's Kelcey Carlson also finished the race, was at the airport when the explosions happened and returned to the scene where she is reporting now.

My thoughts and prayers are with everybody in Boston.
