With a new school year starting for some and others already in the thick of it, this offer at Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt caught my eye on a recent visit.
The stores in Raleigh and Holly Springs are offering one ounce of frozen yogurt for each A received (up to four As). The shop in Raleigh, 4035 Lake Boone Trail, had some certificates at the counter that kids and parents can fill out to get their reward. The other shop is at NC 55 Bypass and New Hill Road in Holly Springs.
I'm told the shops have been doing this for a few months. And, if you're like me and your kids don't get letter grades, but number grades, an assistant manager said that they'll consider whatever is equivalent to an A, an A. So if your Wake County school kid has some fours, bring her in.
And if you eat lunch or dinner at neighboring Guasaca, you can get another deal too. When I was there last week, you could bring in your receipt from Guasaca and get $1 off at Orange Leaf.
Do you know of other places that offer rewards for good grades?
