CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Four people were hurt Tuesday evening in a two-car collision at Dodsons Crossroads and Dairyland Road in Orange County, state troopers said.

Troopers said a car pulled from Dodsons Crossroads into the path of a car on Dairyland Road. All of the injured were in the car that pulled out, they said.

None of the injuries were life-threatening, police said, but all four were taken to a hospital. The person in the other car was unhurt, troopers reported.

Troopers charged the driver of the car with the injured people with failure to yield the right of way, they said. Dodson Crossroads has stop signs at Dairyland Road.

Orange County EMS crews and firefighters from Orange Grove and Carrboro fire departments took care of the injured people after the wreck, which closed Dodsons Crossroads for a time.
