Orange County sheriff's deputies arrested a man accused of shooting his wife during a dispute early Monday.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Orange County sheriff’s deputies arrested a man accused of shooting his wife during a dispute early Monday.
Investigators responded to a call shortly before 4 a.m. about a woman who was shot multiple times in her home on University Station Road. The woman was taken to Duke University Hospital for treatment.
Deputies found her husband in the home and took him into custody. Larry Adkins Griffin is charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill. He was held at the Orange County jail.
The woman’s condition was unavailable.
