The Orange County Sheriff's Office arrested one person and detained another Thursday after a raid at 5822 Mount Willis Road.

<b>ORANGE COUNTY, N.C.</b> — The Orange County Sheriff's Office arrested one person and detained another Thursday after a raid at 5822 Mount Willis Road, a department spokesman said.

Deputies searched the home as the result of a three-year undercover operation, Maj. Charles Blackwood said.

The man arrested, Clay McCauley, 47, has a history of charges of having, making and selling drugs dating back to 1990, Department of Correction records show.

According to the Sampson County Sheriff's Office, a school resource officer discovered the body of a man inside a vehicle at Hobbton High School's athletic field. Authorities believe the man died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
