Opera Carolina had to cancel its February performance in Cary, part of the town's Marvelous Music Family Series, because of illness, but it's back on the schedule.

Opera Carolina had to cancel its February performance in Cary, part of the town's Marvelous Music Family Series, because of illness, but it's back on the schedule.

Opera Carolina's The Three Little Pigs is set for 11 a.m., May 3, at the Cary Arts Center. All tickets for the Feb. 22 show will be honored, according to a press release. The show is best for grade schoolers - kindergarten to fifth grade.

The 45-minute show tells the classic children's tale, which is set to operatic excerpts from four Mozart operas. Opera Express is the educational touring company for Opera Carolina, which is based in Charlotte.

Next up in the town's family series is a concert from Billy Jonas, who makes music from found objects, on March 16.
