— Police have arrested one of the men sought in the armed robbery of a Fayetteville jewelry store last month.

Officers stopped a vehicle near the intersection of Topeka Street and Seabrook Road on Saturday, and a passenger jumped out of the vehicle and fled on foot, police said.

After a brief chase, Charles Boone III, 18, was apprehended. He was wanted on charges of felony conspiracy, robbery with a dangerous weapon, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, discharging a weapon into occupied property, breaking and entering and resisting an officer.

Police said Boone, Chrishawn Johnson, 16, and two other unidentified people entered the Gold Factory, at 5075 Morganton Road, on Dec. 23 and shot and wounded the owner during a robbery.

Anyone with information on Johnson’s whereabouts or with the identities of the other two robbers is asked to call police at 910-433-1851 or Crime Stoppers at 910 483-TIPS (8477).

What part of go to school, get educated and get a job that so you can take care of yourself do some people not understand. Nothing is free. You have to work for what you want. Oh I forgot he probably did not get that lesson on life. Send him to jail for a long time so he can think about what he did.
