One injured in Northgate Mall shooting

— Durham police are investigating after one person was shot Saturday evening outside the Northgate Mall.

Authorities said that a woman was shot in the arm in the parking lot of the mall just after 7 p.m. She was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Her identity was not released.

The shooting occurred after some type of altercation that began inside the mall spilled out into the parking lot.

No suspects were in custody Saturday night. Police did not say if they were looking for one or multiple suspects. Authorities said a dark colored car may have been involved.

    Anxious to hear if the shooter or shooters are on probation. Crime does pay in NC. The slaps on the wrist take less than 8 hours a day.
