A person was shot at the Timberlane Apartments in Southern Pines Tuesday night, according to authorities.


<b>SOUTHERN PINES, N.C.</b> — Authorities were investigating a reported shooting at the Timberlane Apartments Tuesday evening in Southern Pines.

According to the Aberdeen Times, officers were told that one person was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Investigators have not identified the victim or a suspect.

No further information has been released.
