The fact is we shall always have the so called "riff raff" among us. Where are they supposed to live ? There's been a push for many years to spread the poor among many north and north east Raleigh neighborhoods. Move em out of downtown and to the 'burbs. Its the norm in apartments and neighborhoods up Capital from Mini City to Triangle and up to Wake Forest (including Wakefield).

I agree with Barfly, I can remember when the Mini City area was the place to be and live out there around the Millbrook and Spring Forest parts. I actually paid a deposit on a brand new apt in a complex called Overlook or something like that, and at first they were bringing in quality tentants until they had more apts than tenants and they began to let anybody in. Including the rif raff and that's when it went down hill quick. The wannabee gangbangers and drugs found their way into the complex and they had to have a security guard in the area. Got my deposit back and moved on. From what I hear, there was a trailer park next to this place and some of the troublemakers from the hood starting hanging around. There went the neighborhood.

What a nice little slice of Americana section of town don'tcha think?

Mini City has been in decline for years. Under the wealth redistribution plan, slumlords are lining their pockets with government cash and the entitlement crowd destroys the local economy. Great plan if you're into high crime.

When will ALL members of society get tired of this everyday? Answer, when all the good guys get a conceal and carry and defend themselves from bad people.
