Police in Pennsylvania arrested Hugo Serralde Fernandez, 22, on Sept. 19. He was returned to North Carolina Thursday and taken to the Wake County jail.

<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — Raleigh police announced the arrest of one of two suspects in a shooting on Mackinac Island Lane in July.

Police in Pennsylvania arrested Hugo Serralde Fernandez, 22, on Sept. 19. He was returned to North Carolina Thursday and taken to the Wake County jail. Fernandez faces charges of attempted murder for shooting Emanuel Wooden, 16, in the back.

A second suspect, Juan Carlos Serralde, 18, remains at large.

According to the Sampson County Sheriff's Office, a school resource officer discovered the body of a man inside a vehicle at Hobbton Middle School athletic field. Authorities believe the man died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
