Garner, N.C. — Garner police were looking for a man and woman Thursday who were seen in the area of a shooting in the 900 block of Benson Road.
The victim, a 25-year-old man whose name was not released, was shot in the leg.
Officers were called to the scene of a shooting around 4 p.m. One suspect was taken into custody and a weapon was recovered.
No other information was released.

REALLY!!! Crime is crime and Garner is no stranger to crime. Is it because an incident involves "someone" that the crime must be related to South Raleigh? Look at the map of crime not remotely close to areas of Raleigh where crime is a problem. You like most don't understand the diversity South Raleigh. There are various income levels, professions, and many single family-MORTGAGE bearing subdivisions. I think because of the greater concentration of minorities and proverty level in city and South Raleigh being tied to downtown outward many are mislead. but if it is 20% below proverty line then 80% must be above...stop the generalization and use common sense! Drive around and visit for more than just a traffic annoying concert-
