BENSON — A 59-year-old man was killed and three others, including an infant, were injured in a single-vehicle wreck south of Benson Saturday night, state troopers said.

Troopers said that around 9:30 p.m., an SUV driven by Gary McLamb, 59, ran off the road while coming around a sharp curve in the 9000 block of Strickland's Crossroads Road, near Interstate 40.

McLamb was killed during the wreck, troopers said.

Three passengers – Tracy Dybus, 46, Ronacy Dybus, 27, and Tristan Gale, 1 – suffered non-life-threatening injuries. They were transported to WakeMed in Raleigh. All were treated and released expect for Ronacy Dybus, who was listed in fair condition Sunday afternoon.

Relatives said the group was traveling through North Carolina.
