One person was killed Friday night in a single-car crash in Moore County, authorities said. 

<b>MOORE COUNTY, N.C.</b> — One person was killed Friday night in a single-vehicle crash in Moore County, authorities said.

According to investigators, a mini-van lost control on Pine Grove Church Road, crashed and caught fire at about 8 p.m. No other vehicles were involved.

Authorities said when they arrived to the scene the van was fully engulfed in flames.

Pine Grove Church Road was closed to traffic for more than two hours while authorities investigated the crash.

No additional information was immediately available.
