One killed in Moore County house fire

Aberdeen, N.C. — One person died early Friday after a home caught fire in Aberdeen, police said. 

Fire crews first responded to the home, located on Saunders Avenue, about 3:30 a.m. According to the Aberdeen Times, the home was fully engulfed when fire crews arrived on scene. 

Investigators were still at the home early Friday and have not released the victim's name. 

No other information was immediately available.
