One person was killed Wednesday night after a pickup truck ran a stop sign and hit a vehicle at the intersection of Young and Benson roads near Angier, the North Carolina State Highway Patrol said.

ANGIER, N.C. — One person was killed Wednesday night after a pickup truck ran a stop sign and hit a vehicle at the intersection of Young and Benson roads near Angier, the North Carolina State Highway Patrol said.
The wreck is the third serious accident at the intersection in recent weeks, neighbors said.
