DURHAM, N.C. — A three-vehicle crash in Durham Tuesday morning killed a 24-year-old woman, police said.

Krystal Lashay Langley was trying to make a left turn from Bon Air Avenue onto southbound North Roxboro Street shortly before noon when she crossed into a path of a box truck. The impact of that collision caused Langley's 1995 Chevrolet Corsica to hit a third vehicle, a 2007 Mazda 3.

Langley was trapped in her car before being rescued by firefighters and taken to a local hospital. She was pronounced dead a short time later.

The drivers of the truck and Mazda were not injured.

Roxboro Road was closed between Murray Avenue and Bon Air Avenue for four hours while police investigated the crash.

No charges have been filed.
