One injured in southeast Raleigh shooting

— Raleigh police are investigating a shooting that injured one person early Sunday morning.

Neighbors called 911 shortly after 2 a.m. to report gunshots in the area off of Pearl Road near Rock Quarry Road.

The victim, whose identity was not released, was listed in critical condition at WakeMed, authorities said.

Further details, including a possible suspect and motive, weren't immediately available.
