One injured in pool hall brawl
One person was injured during a weekend brawl at a Roanoke Rapids pool hall, police said Wednesday.

ROANOKE RAPIDS, N.C. — One person was injured during a weekend brawl at a Roanoke Rapids pool hall, police said Wednesday.
The Saturday morning fight inside Hux's Billiards involved as many as 60 people, Police Chief Adam Bondarek said. One man suffered injuries to his face and head, he said.
The man, whose name wasn't released, was in fair condition Wednesday at an area hospital, Bondarek said.
Police have issued an arrest warrant for Leo Daniel Short, 32, on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon in connection with the brawl. He wasn't in custody as of Wednesday morning.
