Man injured in Orange County shooting
A man was taken to UNC Hospitals early Tuesday after being shot at a home in the 4000 block of Pope Road in Durham, Chapel Hill police said.
Posted — UpdatedCHAPEL HILL, N.C. — A man was taken to UNC Hospitals early Tuesday after being shot at a home in the 4000 block of Pope Road in Durham, Chapel Hill police said.
Emergency personnel responded to the home at about 5:30 a.m. The unidentified man was shot in the hand and abdomen, and authorities said his injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
Chapel Hill authorities are looking for three men who may be traveling in a white sedan. Police said the men may be armed and dangerous.
No other information about the shooting was released.
