One taken to hospital after incident at Raleigh nightclub

One person was taken to the hospital early Wednesday following an incident at a nightclub in north Raleigh, police said.

— One person was taken to the hospital early Wednesday following an incident at a nightclub in north Raleigh, police said. 

Officers responded to Mambo 69 Sports Bar, at 2221 New Hope Church Road, at about 1:30 a.m. 

No information about the incident has been released, but a police investigation is ongoing. Authorities have not released the name of the person taken to the hospital.

    They put this as an incident, it was a shooting from the beginning, but because it's North Raleigh, it's tabbed as an incident. No one can seriously say, there is no bias reporting, and double standards for Durham. The victim didn't go back there, and get shot again.

    lets see,a nightclub opens in a predominatly section 8 and hispanic apt area and 24 hour check cashing placeand violence happenss? Those old brentwood area apts should all be torn down,never saw that coming.

    Funny how this story moved or never made it to top story, front page. Coincidence? Not!! When does violence and/or a shooting only become an incident???

    Not the daisy land, the world is right north Raleigh. Funny how it's an incident here, when I everybody says it was a shooting. It doesn't matter North, it's still Raleigh, the dividing is just for those trying to paint a perfect picture, while heavily scrutinizing other cities and area. An incident, really WRAL?
