One injured, Apex High evacuated after chem lab fire
Apex High school students spent a couple of hours Friday morning in the parking lot, waiting while firefighters cleared the building after an accident in a chemistry lab, a Wake County Public Schools spokesman said.

One student suffered minor injuries from what spokesman Matt Dees called "a small chemical fire."
Emergency personnel were called just before 10 a.m., and students were back in class before noon.
