Man struck by vehicle in Fayetteville dies
One person was killed Monday afternoon after he was hit by a vehicle on Raeford Road near Skibo Road, Fayetteville police said.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — One person was killed Monday afternoon after he was hit by a vehicle on Raeford Road near Skibo Road, Fayetteville police said.
Vernon Maurice Walker, 54, of 1050 Rulnick Street, was attempting to cross Raeford Road when he was hit by a vehicle driven by Justin Soles, 22, of 6516 Green Meadow Road, police said.
Investigators have not said if any charges will be filed.
